Thanks Josh, I wasn't aware I could do it this same way as I had done in xp, that's pretty handy. I did find it as well through search, hmm maybe I misspelled it or something.

As for whether or not you leave your laptop turned on, that is a personal choice. If you leave it on, it will automatically defrag at whatever time you have set. Also, when I found the defrag, it said it was set to defrag at 2/a.m. each morning, well now...I am in the habit of shutting down my laptop each night, so should I leave it on so it can do this defragging?
