Hi Joe & Dewayne, I had this problem as well & after it was all said & done it was determined that my onboard soundcard took a dump. The people I bought my computer from didn't want to believe it because they didn't want to have to warranty it but, I eventually just in stalled a Soundblaster soundcard for all sounds except for Jaws, which I run through a USB soundcard.
