there there, use the search box to get to them, or if nothing else you can
find your my documents folder by going to the C: drive (windows key +e), and
then go to users, enter go to your users name, enter and look in there it
will be a folder saying either documents or my documents

and again in the start menu you can start menu up arrow once to all
programs, right arrow to the shutdown item, down-arrow to your user folder
and right arrow on it.
then arrow down to the item you want a shortcut for and use your
applications key or shift and f10 to get to the applications menu and right
arrow on send to and enter on desktop(create shortcut) and va la instant
desktop shortcut

you will probably wish to go to your desktop and rename the shortcut mine
always say " - shortcut" after the name

there is another way to set this up, go get my folder on windows 7 helpful
hints (a zip file) from my grab bag site and find the desktop notes in it
for the other methods for setting this up

Subject: [Blind-Computing] my documents not on pc

i recently received a rebuilt pc from the son of a fellow jaws user,
it has jaws 12 on it, and plan on giving it to a friend who is new
with both jaws, and a pc. this pc has win 7 as it's os, and i.e. 9,
but there is no "my documents", or "control panel" anywhere. does
anyone know i can install these 2 features on this pc?
