I am not sure of what 2010 has to offer because I use 2007 and I hear nothing like what you mentioned in your earlier mail. Once the options box is up try unchecking the option Information Bar something and check if this works.
The first 3 settings should be checked because they tell you if you have replied or forwarded the email message. And see what options it allows you to change for that application in JAWS. You must have the application in focus in order to invoke the settings dialog box for JAWS for the application.
