Sometimes I want music and other on the speakers and sometimes in my headset with Jaws, so I had just made a shortcut and hot key to the Sound applet for changing on the fly. It lands on the list of cards, I'll arrow down to my speakers, hit apps key and arrow to set as default.
In Jaws you can set it to use it's own too of course. It is not really a sound card as we know it but sends the music to the stereo. So it is considered a sound card. The reason for the sound switch program is so that I don't have to go to control panel, sounds, and switch to the audio engine when I want to go down stairs and listen to the stereo. And when I am up at the computer I want sound to come out of the audio connexant in case I go to an internet site that has a youtube site and need to listen to it. In the jaws sound cards sub menu of jaws, I have audio connexant checked for the jaws sound card. Now I have this little program called sound switch. It allows me to press the f11 key to switch between sound cards. Thing is when I switch to the audio engine jaws quits coming out of the computer and goes to the audio engine. It says in the jaws help that jaws should stay with the sound card that is checked. How can I get this to work right.
