Hi,
I didn't see Knight Commander mentioned in the original post.
While I think the accessibility in Galactic Colonies is in beta, I
personally didn't find any problems with it.
And unfortunately I'm not really one for browser games. To be perfectly
honest with you that concept actually scares me, especially after
someone tried to show me what muds were and all I got were some kind of
script errors.
Having said that. The minimum I ask for from a game is sound and
perspective.
Sound is how I make sense of my world, and so a game without sound to me
is like a film without images would be to someone who is sighted.
As for perspective, I'd much rather walk, get out a gun, load it and
fire it, than type commands in a terminal telling the game to walk my
invisible character 30 steps and kill a zombie, and then have everything
automate based on chance. Even in Manamon where encounters are automated
you still get to choose your next move, and you can hear your
environment so you have a much better idea of where you are.
Again though. I'm going off what I heard in old podcasts. Things could
be a lot different now, but I'd need a lot of help if I'm going to have
any kind of success or pleasure in that area of gaming.
Cheers,
Damien.

Night commander, has already been mentioned.
Accessibility for galactic colonies is still a bit iffy, though I'm
really looking forwad to it getting fixed.
Also though, have you tried home quest? it also has combat and equipping
an army, but lots of making new settlements and building too.
Not as long as crafting kingdom by any stretch of the imagination but
great fun.
also, consider some of the available online incremental building games,
favourites of mine include space company, evolve, civ, Shark game,
clicker and trimps, not to mention city builder.
For more details check their respective entries on the audiogames.net
database.

Hi,
I'm about to come to the end of Crafting kingdom, there will only be
one quest I don't finish, and I'm looking for a replacement. Criteria
are, IOS, available now, doesn't require headphones and is more of a
timewaster than anything that requires much thought, but does have
things you need to get done. I did Diceworld years ago but often found
I forgot it or missed matches, since i will sometimes go ages without
playing.
Thanks
Dave
