Hi, Going to say a bug. I know if you leave a floor and come back to it the floor is wiped clean. But if nothing on a ground after a fight then you've got a bug. LOL. Quitting and restarting should fix that. And its for that reason I make a backup of the floor just before I leave it. Just in case something happens.
Other than quitting and reloading it to try and fix it. I can think of one other thing and that is after each time you use the portal save, then reload . Best of luck. BTW. What version you running? If not 1.02k or 1.05b then upgrading might fix it so you do not get that bug again. Note the current game will not be compatible With an upgrade. So finish the game your on before upgrading.
