I found a gate in an underground fence I cannot open and the mossy cave landmark is in the twisty passage but I have to go down to enter it according to landmark information. No moss on floor there just mineable minerals and I don't know that excavating the floor at that spot would get me an opening large enough for me to drop into that cave. I have a wand of knock I could try on the gate but don't know if that would work.
