LOL that crazy voice is just crazy. Every time it says Jeffrey, it sounds like it's yelling at me. So, in this case, it comes out sounding like
Jeffrey!
LOL and yes, making it say certain things is quite fun. :)

The one minor drawback is that she sounds a bit bitchy rofl, but I rather enjoy making my iPhone say, erm, certain things, shall we say. I can't even remember them right now anyway.

Yeah, having Alex on there would be pretty sweet. I really wish
they'd have it on IPhones or IPods, now that would be cool. The girl
voice, whatever her name is, isn't bad though when you compare her to
Microsoft Sam or Mary. Haha.

must say, it really feels like I'm using just a larger, slightly more

have on the mac, on iOS.

Yes. A good thunderstorm would be nice now. Maya, I think I got some
of your rain this morning. It rained out the parade my marching band
was supposed to perform in, but it was cold, killed the mugginess, and
felt amazing in general. I'm sure all the poor thirsty trees,
cornfields, and other vegitation around Dayton would agree with me,
lol.

I know what you mean about dictation, especially since the college
ordered an embosser but is still waiting on embosser paper, so I just
kind of sit there while the class does sight-singing and then when
they sing it I join in. It freaks people out how I can match what
they're doing so quickly, even though they're really easy exercises.
(Voice leading and knowing how to use it is an awesome thing, lol).
Good luck with getting a job, Maya.

Emily: Hmmm, very interesting life statistic.

The mac does take getting used to just in terms of the layout. I
haven't used it much, but the computer the music department has set up
with windows is a duel-boot, so I've had to get used to the mac
keyboard. It's pretty sweet how you can just slide CD's directly into
the machine without dealing with a drive, but the swapped positions of
the alt and windows key when running windows threw me for the longest
time. Guess I'll stick to PC with the exception of my IDevices.

I love a good summer storm, though, because afterword, the water in our
pool
is much warmer than the surrounding air at night. You'd be surprised how
fun
it is to swim later at night and clear out all of the leaves and stems
that
blow in from the surrounding trees. Besides, give me a good thunderstorm
to
fall asleep listening to any day!

We had some pounding rain stuff yesterday, a bunch of people were
complaining on facebook about going to these fireworks and getting
drenched.

Sounds awesome, I wouldn't mind getting all of these, only the main
problem is I don't play any woodwinds, well I could always pretend
that I do, lol.
I
was always bored in my dictation classes while I was at music school,
everyone was writing dictations for so long, when I could play it by
ear after the third or fourth listen. My friend who used to study at
musical college found it hard to cope with sign language choir, but it
seems they just didn't get on well with a teacher. I wonder if your
history professor is fat. :) But at least talking about food is better
than talking about something else. When I had philosophy, our
philosopher was always inclined to end up talking about relations
between men and women, lol, whatever the topic was. The rain is
constant but it's small and nasty and monotonous, and brr... It's
cold.

Oooooo, you have extra? Give me some please, I feel like I'm wilting
over here. Lol.

I have music classes, Aural Skills which some colleges call
Sight-Singing and Dictation and others call Musicianship, Music Theory
I, Music Therapy Professional Development Workshop, Recital Class,
Woodwind Master Class, etc. It sounds like a lot but it's really not
that bad. For gen-eds I'm taking Philosophy, West and World History
which my professor has decided to relate entirely to food, and a
writing seminar. And to blow off some steam I have Symphonic Wind
Ensemble, marching band, and a sign language choir, (which is going a
lot smoother than I thought it would).
