I played a Granger song in honors band my junior year of high
school. I can't remember what it was called - all I know is that
it was fast, it was in E-flat and it was a dance - but I loved
it. I think I might still have the piece at home in a huge box in
the garage. I'm not sure if I've ever heard a Persichetti piece
before, though. What kind of stuff does he compose?

of his awesome Italian last name, I do get tired of playing him

single semester. My band director is obsessed with him.

song (or what I think is horrible) by Percy Granger called I'm
Seventeen Come Sunday. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. I don't
hate Percy Granger, because he has some pretty good songs, but
this one ranks up there as one of my least favorite songs I've
ever played. Tata and shit!

Not sure I'm going to get very much response about this
question,
but
I'm curious as I'm finding it very hard to get past the ending
of
a
relationship to someone that I was with for over a year. The
relationship ended about seven months ago, and supposedly time
makes
things easier ... but I don't find that to be true at all.
