If you are really 28 and you still live with your dad, you deserve what you 
get, or in your case, what you don't get. You should have a goal of becoming 
more independent instead of getting sidetracked with minor goals such as 
games. If your situation is that difficult you may need a social worker to 
help you get established and set up on your own. Then you can work to buy 
your own games. I say this as a blind parent who has raised 2 children.

confused how and why a parent can block you from purchasing a game you want.
True, I live in the US and don't know beans about your family life, but
I do know where I am everyone at that age pretty much does as he or she
pleases. After all they are adults.
