Hi.
You have a good point that Lucas arts and other major companies like
them in all likelihood know nothing about our community. there is good
chance a developer could go totally undiscovered in developing games
with a trademark and copyrights attached, but then there is the ethics
of the thing. Should then a dev do it knowing it may be illegal?
USA Games has a vision to go above and beyond this community someday.
That saying we would like to get larger attention to this community,
accessible gaming, and show major gaming magazines, news sources, etc
that this community exists.
With that vision in mind having pitfalls like trademarked games is not
the type of game one would want to nationally publicize. It would draw
negative as well as positive attention the company involved. We want
positive attention.
