Tom,
If I were you I would keep that scale under lock and key. (LOL)
You know, some of the folks on this list may be desirous and plan to get a
five finger discount on a scale which seems to be identical to yours. (LOL)
Sure wish I had seen this at Harbour Freight cause I would have one. Wait a
minute, let me think, I did get one of those. Now, where did you say you
lived?
Just asking you know.....
Cy, the Ancient Okie....

We've been buying stuff from them for years, most good, some not so.

One of my favorite weird items which they carried only once is a cast iron
ballance scale. It has a brass bowl on the unknown side, and a little
platform on the other with weights from an eighth ounce to I think 2 pounds.
When I got it there were ball bearings all over the package and I thought O
crud all the bearings have gone loose and I'll never get it back together.

My very clever wife found out that these ball bearings were not used as
bearings, but as calibration weights. There is a little box that screws to
the bottom of the weight pan into which you put the necessary number of
balls to ballance the empty scale.

It is very easy to ballance with a nice pointer in the center.
Works fine for postal weights and other stuff.

Obviously made in china as it only cost twelve bucks. I still feel a bit
guilty spending so little on such a cool gadget, I'd love to be able to send
a few extra bucks to the poor underpaid folks who designed and built such a
simple but perfectly usable tool.

sorry for all those who envy this scale, we only saw them listed once.
