Hi John, I'm not sure which functions on the selector dial you're speaking of but I was able to find all the functions that my wife and friend were able to see. Granted, counting clicks is somewhat of a pain in the ass but I wouldn't call a function that's tedious to use inaccessible. The click counting is the reason I decided not to buy the unit. I find it much easier to mark the ten digits, power level button, stop and start buttons on any microwave with loc-dots and simply memorize the item indicated by the dot. It's worked for me with any unit we've ever owned and it lets you choose from just about any unit on the market.
