We have a door between our house and lanai. To hold it open we have
been using a stack of chairs. My wife suggested I make a stop from
wood. So, after thinking about it, I took my rotomatic and roughly
measured about 2.25 inches between the bottom of the door and
floor. I found a scrap piece of 2 by 4 about 6 inches long. I
wanted it to measure 2 inches at one end and 2.5 inches at the other
to get an angle for the door to wedge against. I set the fence of my
table saw at 2.5 inches from the blade. I put the scrap of wood
parallel, against the fence. Then, I took a little metal gismo I
have and moved the end of the wood towards the blade a half inch from
the fence. With the blade guard resting on top of the wood, I placed
my finger against the guard for a guide and pushed the wood
through. It worked the way I wanted it.
