Hi All, I have a friend who is a certified pipe fitter. When I was putting my air compressor together and making air lines he came over. The first thing that he recommended was that I do away with the plastic type air hose and get a good rubber one from a auto parts place. This hose is very flexible. Now when he put on the quick disconnect couplers he used both Teflon tape and a gas line paste. Now he told me to be very careful to keep the tape and paste at least 3 threads back from the end. Any closer there is a chance that a small piece of the tape or paste could end up in your nail gun causing a big repair. Lenny http://www.geocities.com/lenny_mchugh/
