First thing you need to look at is the back of the watch. If there is a screw on back or if it has just two notches one on each side. The notch type needs a special tool to twist off back. The screw type is ease and only needs a small Phillips head to do the job. If screw type when have battery out its easy to see how it goes back in. The screw type mostly take the big battery that looks like a nickle. That type of battery can be bought almost anywhere. Just look for smoke detector batteries a lot of them take that type, and will run anywhere from $4 to 8 depending on brand. The notch type mostly take hearing aid batteries and those can be bought anywhere also.
