Max, that may be so but there is a bit of Tim the tool man in me! The ropes I made for guiding lawn mowing operations are approaching an inch thick, I don't think I would live long enough to cut through them with a soldering gun. I cut them with a hack saw then torched the ends, well most of the ends anyway.I tried to braid the bundles back into the ends to form a loop, very clever but I didn't do a very clever job of it.
