Somebody on the handymans show was wondering what a Perkins labeler looked like. It is a flat piece of sheet metal about 3 inches wide and 10 inches long or so. On one side there is about a quarter lip. Down the middle of this piece space is cut out for the dymo tape. There are clips at each end of this cut out space to hold the tape. One affixes the tape under the clips. Then, one puts the flat side into the writer and rolls the piece until the lip hits the writer. Making sure the writer carriage is within the cut out, Braille the label and remove the labeler.
