We are here in warm Texas. I'm glad it worked out all so. I could take off
the tire, but it is a real pain in the butt. glad to not have to do that don

  Don
glad you got your tire problem resolved.
I have a question for you. Are you down there in Texas or up in the frozen
tundra? I figure you are not driving this thing in the cold and snow. But
either way if not for you What I have to say might be useful for others on
the list. Up here in the north country what can some times happen is when
there is a sever drop in temp and a lot of moisture the valve stem can get
iced up and leak. This is very rare and I have only seen it for myself one
time. This winhter I noticed the tire on the pick up was low and when I went
to fill it up I heard an awful howell from the valve stem I had to air it up
again the next day but after that it was fine.

Good deal, I will keep this info in mind in the future. I got home, and took
the cap off the valve, and sprayed just a touch of WD 40, on the stem,
flicked it a few times with my tiny screw driver. put air in the tire, it
has worked fine. I guess a little dirt are something got in to the valve.
Thanks for the info. regards Don

  Hi Don,

I heard on the Blind Handyman show that you were having a leak from the
valve stem on your scooter. You can pick up a valve core removing tool at
any auto parts store. The tool looks like a small screw driver with a slot
in the business end. You put it down around the little thing you were
flicking back and forth in side the valve stem which is called a valve stem
core. Turn it counter clockwise to remove the core, being careful , if
there is any pressure still in the tire, that it doesn't fly out and you
loose it. Once you have it out, you can clean it and put it back in or take
it to the auto parts store and get one like it and replace it.

  Hope this helps :)
