Dale,

There is a product called "Kitty Hair" that is a mixture of
rezzin and fiber glass. It is specifically designed to act
as a high build filler for metal however if you ask around
you might find out if it is appropriate for wood.
I used it under the hood of the El Camino on the fire-wall,
radiator support and inner fenders prior to painting it and
it is some pretty amazing stuff.

Regards

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Looking for a specific filler.

Hi,

I am looking for some sort of self leveling wood filler.

What I have is some rather poor construction grade plywood I
used to form the carcass of my router table. There are high
and low spots which I will never sand out and would probably
blow through the surface layer in spots if I tried. I could
use plaster joint compound and still might but it is pretty
brittle when cured, I would like to find something more
acrylic but which would puddle in the low spots but remain
just that little bit elastic so it doesn't separate from the
surface of the wood over time. The intended final finish is
paint.

Does anyone know of such a product?
