Hi Rae, You will probably end up damaging the drywall some but it can help to firmly wrap on the tiles a few times before attempting to prize them off. Your best bet is probably a narrow putty knife, one of those really good quality flexible ones inch and a half wide or so. If there is enough good paint on the board under the adhesive it might separate more easily but it is more likely you will lift the paper off of the surface of the board.
