Hi everyone, I just bought a new WEED EATER push lawn mower with a Briggs & Stratton engine this past weekend. I was going over the owner's manual (yes, a woman reading a power tool manual :)),and it says under changing oil section to soak the air cleaner foam in oil and wring out with a soft cloth and replace. My question is, do I do this before I use the mower for the first time? All the manual says is to do it when you change the oil. It also says to change the oil after the first five hours of operation. Is this necessary? Thank you very much.
