It's about $45.00 with shipping
such a deal!

This is the only inexpensive talking meter now available so far as I know.

There are other meters with serial interfaces and they vary in how easy 
they are to access.

this one is just fine for any normal user, probably not lab
standard but unless you're a lab scientist or a  standards engineer
who cares.
