I don't have an air compressor anymore but I do have some canned air that I use to clean the inside of my computer and circuit boards. It's worth a try. And you're right, any excuse to use a tool ...

If so do you have an air nossel that you can use to blow out any small dust and debree that might be built up in the Baring? Might be worth a try. Any excuse to use a tool such as an air compressor is a good excuse. -----Original Message----- From: blindhandyman@ <mailto:blindhandyman%40yahoogroups.com> yahoogroups.com [mailto:blindhandyman@ <mailto:blindhandyman%40yahoogroups.com> yahoogroups.com]On Behalf Of Edward Przybylek Sent: Wednesday, May 09, 2007 1:50 PM To: blindhandyman@ <mailto:blindhandyman%40yahoogroups.com> yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [BlindHandyMan] Lubrication Question Hi, I've never heard of using talcum powder as a lubricant but I'm willing to try anything at this point. The noise is coming from a small wheel at the front of the beater bar. I'd like to lubricate it but I'm not sure what to use. My guess is that most lubricants would cause dust and dirt to build up on the wheel. Does anyone know of something that would get rid of the squeak and not cause such a build-up? A dry lubricant, perhaps? Thanks.
