If the filter doesn't seem to be pulling enough water threw the system, I make sure that all the connections are install correctly. Then I press plumbers putty between the connector and the end of the hose. I crimp the whole area. Then I repeat that to all the pipes. It seems to find very small air leaks in to the filter system.
