I would say try it. As for the am/fm tape dec I would see no problem, for the other device, you might have analog versus digital issues. I have a cd copier that I have the analog versus digital issue and it drove me batty when I try to record lps to cds. I finally gave up trying that but may visit it again when I get the chance. I like experimenting just to see if it works and when I get in a jam, I turn to a list like this one for great and friendly advice. Good luck.

I do have a input and out put for MD tape in, and MD tape out in back of the receiver. So correct me if i'm wrong. if i run the wire from the back of the computer, to a AM/FM cassette recorder, or CD/DVD recorder. Then feed the receiver from the recording device. I will not only get to enjoy the music on my receiver, but also get to record at the same time?. Is this correct? I just used a patch cord that had the single jack that plugs in to the computer sound card and the other end has 2 jacks that plug in to the radio auxiliary. If I want to use an earphone or a set of head phones I just plug them into the radio unit. I could add speakers to the output side as there are jacks for that, but this is good enough and when I want to hear the radio or play a tape I can switch over to either of them without bothering the computer. I used it some when I was taking an online course to record the lesson. ----- Original Message ----- From: Roger Bachelder To: blindhandyman@ <mailto:blindhandyman%40yahoogroups.com> yahoogroups.com Sent: Sunday, July 08, 2007 10:06 AM Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Computer and receiver Hi guys, I'm looking to make my computer sound go through my Receiver. Is there a simple way of doing this? And if so, Can someone point me in the direction on how to do this?
