is the tank plastic or metal, because the fix may not be simple. If 
you got a weld shop around they can advise how to seal both 
permanent, because a temp fix is just that and as soon as it builds 
up pressure. The fix may break again.
Around 60 to 80psi on the water tank is good use any higher and 
things may pop. Most house don't even putout that kind of pressure, 
but that is what they should be putting out.
