Is the food staying frozen? If that's the case, it sounds like something is
blocking the drain line. Sometimes pieces of ice can fall into the drain and
not melt because there isn't a coil near by to heat it. This is a very general
explanation because I'm not familiar with your freezer. Often the drains are
located on the very bottom of the freezer even under the baskets some have in
them. If a piece of plastic dropped off a package it could find its way and
cover the drain. If the drain isn't on the bottom they are sometimes on the
back on shelf like pieces. They are supposed to have a hose to drain into the
pan underneath so the water can evaporate.
In the old days I've taken air pressure to blow the lines clear but you have to
regulate it down a lot or you can burst the hoses if they are plugged. A can
of that compressed air used to clean keyboards and sewing machines would be a
good idea to try.

  Subject: [BlindHandyMan] freezer problems

Hi, I know we recently had a lot of discussion on this list about side
by side freezer/ refergirator problems. so maybe this is new or not
We have a Maytag 23.5 cubic capicity machine which for awhile seems
to be leaking water onto the floor on the freezer side. not a lot but
enough so one needs to mop once a day. Now we find out that water is
dripping inside and forming ice on the bottom part of the freezer. I
would appreciate any and all ideas for resolving this problem. thanks.
  Lee

Some stirring may be necessary to achieve proper consistency.
