I believe this dril would be fine. I had a Ryobi gas weed eater for many years, started and ran great. I liked it allot. Regards ----- Original Message ----- From: Max Robinson To: blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com Sent: Saturday, January 12, 2008 10:42 PM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] cordless tools
I know this is not one of your named brands but maybe others on the list would be interested in all opinions. I have a Ryobi cordless drill. it has a substantial heft and plenty of torque. In fact I twisted off a few screws before I got the feel of it. It has an adjustable clutch that goes into impact mode when the set torque is exceeded. The adjustment has lots of steps, it's out in the shop and I'm in the house so I can't look at it. I think it has 25 steps. There is also a lock setting to keep it from ever going into impact mode. It also runs a long time on a single charge. Regards. Max. K 4 O D S.
