Folks, got another question. I've decided that because of the location
of my outdoor heatpump, it needs to be moved. The ground is sloped at
that location and it seems the unit just can't be leveled or kept
level as it should. I should have gotten the hvac dude to move the
damned thing when he replaced it, but I was stupid and didn't think
about it. Now to move it will cost me about $400 or so which is a lot
of money. I know labor and all that, a new lineset, and electrical
work will be involved. I'm going to check with a gent I know who has a
son-in-law who might be able to do the work for less, but is there
anything I can do perhaps to help keep the cost down? I assume one
just can't disconnect the unit since the unit probably has to be
pumped down first, but I wonder if the lineset was the proper length,
can it be reused? I don't know much about these units, but just trying
to understand if I'm paying more labor or if the coper line is really
that expensive.

tnx
