My wife uses Country time lemon crystals to clean the dishwasher with. Or sugarless lemon aide Kool-aide. She does this about three times a year and tells me it cleans up the inside of the dishwasher like new. She put some in the soap dispenser and pours a package or two on the bottom of the dishwasher and runs it through a wash cycle empty.
