Mike and Barbara , thanks for your input on this truck. It is not
mine but it belongs to my almost 29 year old son who thinks a pickup
truck can do most anything. this truck has set still for almost 2
years and i was totally surprised when he stuck a new battery in it
that it started and the engine purrs like a kitten. it may be a 6
cylinder but it sounds like a 318 when he starts it up. He is also a
person with what we could call developmental disabilities and takes to
much advice from friends who know diddly about what he needs to keep
this truck on the road. I had a chance recently to rid with him for the
day and it was like i was feeling for the toilet paper dispenser after
hitting a few bumps. and feeling this once solid truck small as it is
rolling from side to side. We can only hope he will sit still long
enough for all the ideas shared on this list can be checked out. .
thanks to all who have donated their time for responses. Lee
