That's about a 5 gallon tank.  Just remember with that size tank you have to 
empty it fairly often because you don't want it getting much over half full 
especially with water.  Not trying to sell a larger model I've just tried it 
both ways and like the larger tank.  

Lengths of hose depend on the brand and diameter of the hose.  Usually 
something like 7 feet or so is normal if anything is ever normal.
