The first thing they mention in my owners manual is never under any circumstances attempt to block or elevate the treadmill assembly in any manner.

Simply blocking one end or the other would create some serious issues with both the belt drive and incline mechanisms. I have a design banging around in the empty reaches of my brain. I just had a stress test and was walking 3.5 mph at 14% incline. My treadmill goes no where near that. I think I would like to put some blocks under the front to take it to at least 10%.
