The drawer pulls in the kitchen are warn. The brass is very discolored. On Saturday Karen went to a craft show and someone had a buy-out. They had several styles of drawer pulls. She purchased 21 polished brass knobs at 50ยข each. When we went to change them we now have a problem. The old knobs have a 9/16" base that indented the wood from tightening them. The base on the new knobs is 1/4". I called the local hardware stores and did a few internet searches to try and locate a polished brass washer 9/16" that would work between the new pulls and the wood. Any ideas if such an washer exists, or where I can purchase? A similar knob to the one currently in use is $3.25 I really don't want to spend another $70 for new knobs.
