I used to have an ex-wife who would rub her legs together and it would make
a noise that sounded like . . . "Not tonight, I've got a headache"!! ROFL

Hello,

I hope this doesn't sound argumentative, but crickets use their wings--not
their legs-- to make the chirping sound.

They rub one wing, called the "scraper", against the other wing, called the
"file" to produce their annoying pulses of sound.

I can't remember the name of the crickets that boar under the ground, but
they don't chirp because they have no wings.
