I picked up the Harbor Freight 50" combination clamp. I will do my best to
give a verbal picture.
It is 50" long 2.5" w and about 9/16" h.
Along the top there are two 1/4" T-tracks each about 3/4" from the edges.
The straight guides are about 1/4" high and from the top of it tapers up
to the 9/16" height.
At one end is a fixed clamp end with the locking mechanism. Now on the
underside there is a channel in the center that has a 50" long rod that the
adjustable clamp rides. So you will slide out and place the clamp on your
board sliding the adjustable clamp up to the edge of the board and then
locking it in place. You can then run your router or saw against the
straight edge. I will know more about it in a few days when I actually try
to trim some stock.
I really wanted to compare it against the one that Bill ordered but Bill's
is internet only.
I am glad that I took the internet description along. On the internet it is
listed at $24.99 at the store it is $29.99. They did a price match then took
off their sale coupon of another 15%

Please visit my home page; it is motivational, inspirational and humorous
with many resources for the blind.
