When you put air to it, the unit is energized. Stand the nail on end like
normal and slide the barrel over the head of the nail.

Once it bottoms out on the head of the nail, just put the palm of your hand
on the large flat surface that is now facing up. Apply pressure with your
hand and the fun starts. When you push hard enough it will start pounding.

Just a couple warnings. You have to hold the nail in place with the other
hand until it starts pounding. Don't hold it real tight or it will sting
for a while. And it only takes about 2 seconds to drive a 16 penny nail
completely into a 4 by 4. So it will go fast.

Remember to start the nail as straight as possible or it will bend just like
it was hit wrong with a hammer, only faster. Nails with heads aren't so
hard to work with. Finish nails take a special tip or they will walk to the
side and get stuck inside the barrel.

Have fun
