Are you sure it reads amps? I have one and it doesn't have an amp meter on it.

But some of what it can do would require more knowledge of electricity than I have. But it test both AC and DC volts and amps, resistance, continuity and even capacitance or something like that... Not a word I spell often. I couldn't find my old model for a long time so I bought this model from Jones. Of course, my old one showed up in "someone's" tool box.
