I have this same joist hangar nailer, and really love it. The tips of the nails are exposed, so it is easy for a blink to put the tip of the nail into the hole on the hangar and bammo. It is one powerful little sucker. Very compact as well. The joists on my deck were nominally 12 inches on center and I had no problems using this nailer in that confined space.
