Thanks.  Mine seems to be well attached, except for one small spot behind
the toilet.  I tink I can live with that.

  if the existing vinyl was without bubbles and still firmly attached
  to the floor, we could put the new over it. After tapping on various
  spots that I suspected might not be firmly attached, we decided to
  remove the existing flooring.
