A palm nailer is a round in shape pneumatic nailer. There is a sleeve on the
bottom of the tool which you put the head of a nail in. Then by pressing the
nailer with your palm, this makes the hammering start. Sounds like a machine
gun when working. I have the Bostitch version which is very strong and came
with attachments from driving finish nails and up to I think it says a #60
nail. I know I've sent home some huge spikes with it.

This is a multipurpose nailer but it is also very easy to bend nails with it.
Too much pressure or starting on an angle and the nail will bend and it doesn't
matter the size of the nail. I've bent 16 gauge nails into pretzels before.

Well, I know how a full-sized nail gun works, but I have never seen
a palm-nailer. How does it work? Does it require the cartridge, a
battery or AC cord? What size nails can such a device handle? I
have a staple gun that also shoots brads.
