I still have the same microwave from 25 years ago. that's right my mom's old
microwave I have it and it still works good. hasn't bitten the dust yet.
They make microwaves so cheap these days that they break and don't last
nearly as long as the old ones do. Yes, we throw way too much away. Here in
Saskatchewan, Regina anyway, a recyckling company here has a "Sweep it to
sarcan" where you can send old computer equipment, TV's and electronics like
that and they will discard it propperly.

Hi, wal mart has one with speech for 100 or 150 bucks I think. I just bought
one because one of my old one bit the dust.

Lenny

Was this a talking model? Will you be looking for speech in a new one?

Well Karen just tried to use the microwave. It was making some strange
sounds then stopped. Now it won't heat. The unit is less than 3 years old.
Oh, how I hate our throw-away-society. I called one place and was told that
it would cost more to repair it than you can purchase a new one. So
microwave hunting we go.
