Well, I sure hope that the snow is over for this time of the year. Anyway, I am even more pleased with the altragrip lite slip resistant footwear. Like most of us after a snow storm you find that not all of the sidewalks are clear of ice and snow. Because of this I wear them until I know that everything is safe. Twice I had a mile or so walk on mostly dry sidewalk and found only one pavement not totally cleared. I suspect that I walked a minimum of ten miles on dry sidewalk and parking lots and my altragrip lite shows very little wear. At this rate I would guess that they will last several years. The product that I use to rely on would never have lasted that long walking on that much cleared sidewalk. The other thing that was great was that I never had to take them off to enter a store or business like the post office. The only problem was pointed out by a friend and that was that on occasion my foot did slip about an inch or so before the studs grabbed hold so I just slowed my pace a tad and had no other problems. The one thing that I really liked was that on one occasion Toga and I were walking through some deep snow where other people trampled down a path. It was so narrow that the both of us had problems getting through. During this I did accidentally step on her foot. There was no cuts or anything like that. My wife and two friends went together to order some. They found that if 3 pair were ordered there was a volume discount. This discount brought the total cost including shipping to below the individual price of one pair excluding shipping. --- Please visit my home page; it is motivational, inspirational and humorous with many resources for the blind. http://www.lennymchugh.com Lenny Please Copy and Paste into New Message to pass along.
