Oh, I can imagine. One suggestion that should be common sense. Don't let
anyone outside on the shoot side when cutting. Maybe you could call this
perfect timing. A friend who is sighted was cutting the grass. The mower
picked up a small rock and launched it. The local police was driving down
the street when a loud crack and a projectile went through their side
window. Two cops came out of the car with guns drawn. Ed laughs about it now
but at the time having two cops screaming and pointing guns at you is not a
pleasant thought.----- Original Message -----

Notice I said before I got married... Ever hear an aluminum can when it
gets into the blade? That's all it took.

Now, if you really do not want that chore, make the same mistake as I did.
Many years ago I was cutting the yard. Cutting grass or flowers produces the
same sound, however the reaction from the boss is much different. I was no
longer allowed to cut the grass.

I don't know what you mean by safe. I cut my own grass with one for years
before I got married. The best way I found was to divide the yard into
little squares and finish one and move on to the next square. You'll look
like you're dancing because you have to swing a foot around to make sure you
didn't miss any grass.

Is there a safe way a totally blind person can use lawn mowers?
