Well, we are quite impressed. With the physical problems that Karen and I both have it is difficult to bend and pick up the leaves. This machine was awesome for our yard. Similar to Dan's our home is built at the bottom of the mountain instead of the top. To get to our front door you walk up about 10 steps. From the back door about 12 feet to a set of 15 steps. Along these steps is a bank covered with a ground cover. At the top of the steps the yard levels for about 16 feet. Then another bank and a set of seven steps. From the top of the bank the yard goes back about 10 feet to a retaining wall. At the top of the steps there is about a 3 foot platform and another set of 7 steps. another 3 foot platform and the gate to the back alley. The machine made it much easier for Karen, trying to rake around her flowers really hurts her wrist. all she has to do is to guide the collection tube. It actually picked up wet leaves. I would recommend this machine but I would strongly recommend any that has a metal impeller. I did hear a few stones being sucked up. I don't think that a plastic impeller would have ignored them. --- Please visit my home page; it is motivational, inspirational and humorous with many resources for the blind. http://www.lennymchugh.com Lenny Please Copy and Paste into New Message to pass along.
