I came up with the same method on my own, but the problem is that it will ask the user whether it can use their microphone. If I have a stream that I want to transcribe, say, from an uploaded audio file, or a remote audio stream, the user will get this incorrect permission prompt when I feature-detect whether I can or cannot, if it is not supported. Are there immediate plans to make feature-detecting this less user-disturbing?
