Yeah, sorry about that. We recently released an update to 5107R only, which had a really negative effect on the repository files. Just move everything from /etc/yum.repos.d/oldrepos/ back into /etc/yum.repos.d/ and you should be fine again. I had hoped that the short presence of that bad update didn't affect too many people. If in doubt if everything is fixed again, you can do this (only on 5107R!!!!): ***** 5107R only! **** ***** 5107R only! **** ***** 5107R only! **** Do a "ls -la /etc/yum.repos.d/" to check which repository files you have in /etc/yum.repos.d/ It should look like this: [root@5107r ]# ls -la /etc/yum.repos.d/ total 40 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Jul 20 17:38 . drwxr-xr-x 99 root root 12288 Jul 24 22:10 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 733 Jul 12 20:06 0_WARNING.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 297 Jul 24 19:40 BlueOnyx.repo -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1995 Feb 24 15:13 sl.repo -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1291 Feb 24 15:13 sl-updates.repo -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 275 Jul 12 04:27 Solarspeed-BlueOnyx.repo If it doesn't look like this, then remove all *.repo files from it and then reinstall the correct YUM repository files by reinstalling the respective RPMs that contain them: rpm -hUv --force ftp://ftp2.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/6/i386/os/Packages/sl- release-6.0-6.0.1.i686.rpm rpm -hUv --force http://updates.blueonyx.it/pub/BlueOnyx/5106R/CentOS6/blueonyx/i386/RPMS/blueonyx- yumconf-2.0.0-3.i386.rpm rpm -hUv --force http://updates.blueonyx.it/pub/BlueOnyx/5106R/CentOS6/blueonyx/i386/RPMS/solarspeed- blueonyx-repo-1.0.0-SOL3.i386.rpm IF - and only if - this is VPS created from a BlueOnyx 5107R OS template, then you may want to reinstall this repository as well (not needed for the 5107R CD install!): rpm -hUv --force http://blueonyx.solarspeed.net/pub/BlueOnyx/5106R/CentOS6/blueonyx/i386/RPMS/solarspeed- blueonyx-repo-1.0.0-SOL3.i386.rpm We didn't release this update for 5106R, so those aren't affected and they do use different YUM repositories anyway. So pretty please, NOBODY run the above commands on a 5106R box, or that will cause wrecking damage. -- With best regards Michael Stauber _______________________________________________ Blueonyx mailing list Blueonyx@mail.blueonyx.it http://mail.blueonyx.it/mailman/listinfo/blueonyx
