Checking further I have found...
The "Enable SSL" checkbox shows up on our Blue Quartz boxes but it is not displayed on the Adventurine/Blue Onyx boxes. It would appear the missing "Enable SSL" checkbox is limited to Blue Onyx. ---------- Original Message ----------- From: "James" <ja...@slor.net> To: "'BlueOnyx General Mailing List'" <blueonyx@mail.blueonyx.it> Sent: Wed, 31 Aug 2011 11:47:19 -0400 Subject: [BlueOnyx:08339] Re: Missing SSL switch > Sorry – I didn’t mean to repeat info you already have. But, can’t you just un-tick the “Enable SSL” checkbox in that area to disable or create a self-signed cert and tick Enable to update things? > > > From: James [mailto:ja...@slor.net] > Sent: Wednesday, August 31, 2011 11:45 AM > To: 'BlueOnyx General Mailing List' > Subject: RE: [BlueOnyx:08337] Missing SSL switch > > Look farther down the left side panel once you’ve chosen the site to modify. During the "Add Site" function, there is a list of check boxes: > > Enable CGI > Enable SSI > Enable Shell Access > Enable SSL > > Checking the SSL box turns on the SSL function for the new site. > > After the site has been added, each of these check boxes can be found under the Service function of site - except for SSL. The only thing available appears to be the SSL section that is used to import/export certificates. I am unable to find a way to turn SSL on/off for a site via the same type check box that was used during the Add Site function. > > How is the accomplished after a site has been added? > > Dan Porter > Twin Wolf Technology Group ------- End of Original Message ------- |
